Paris in 3 days: Day 3

Posted on

We kicked off our final day with baguettes + pains au chocolat. (again!)

Then we went to Shakespeare and Company, an adorably old bookshop near the Notre Dame.

The view from this bookshop's window is perfect.

Before going to the top of the Eiffel Tower, we got off at the Trocadéro metro stop.  Trocadéro is the perfect place to take photos with the Eiffel Tower, and it's easily within walking distance from the Eiffel Tower.

If you're planning on going up the Eiffel Tower, be sure to buy tickets early online!  The queue to get tickets on the spot looked horribly long.

After we went to the top of the Eiffel Tower, we got some french fries + gelato.  The french fries were the best I've ever had in my life.

The Sacré-Coeur was our final stop, and I really loved this cathedral.  Climbing up the stairs wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and the views were great.

Basically I dropped my iPod and then we were headed to Gare du Nord to catch our train home.
C'est la vie!

Emma
