If I Must...

Oxford has a side street with colour-blocked row houses, kind of like Notting Hill but just a tad better because the colour is sandwiched between some of the oldest architecture of the university...

I decided that now is the perfect time to break out this pastel coat (which I obsessed over for a little while and finally bought in Paris... yeah, times have certainly changed), and what better to pair it with than black and white?  I'm definitely not against colour, but if I must wear it, I tend to keep it to a minimum by pairing just one colour with neutrals. This summer will likely be no different; I'm hoping to streamline my style to be a bit more simple and focus on buying quality pieces... fingers crossed I don't buy a cheap and trendy piece on a whim! (read: stay away from the Zara sale)
