Last time my family visited Finland, I can remember my dad (Fazer chocolate in hand) announcing with all conviction, "we'll be back here every six months!" That was two years ago...
After a semester of what I'd call academic hell, there's no place I'd rather be for Christmas than here in Helsinki; our plans for the next two weeks are to relax with family (mostly indoors!), eat (mostly chocolate and bread), and hit the sauna daily. If I can manage to keep this routine up, I'll come home a few pounds heavier, rowing muscles nonexistent, and slightly screwed for my upcoming exam. Merry Christmas, right?
