The Days are Long but the Years are Short

Some days seem to have no end; the sort of days that drag on regardless of how many plans you have or how much work you're getting done... For the most part, January appears to be comprised of lengthy days like these. It is on these days that I run.

I happened upon the ruins of a nunnery on one of my runs recently (apparently everyone but me knew that the remains of Godstow Abbey were still intact a few miles from where I live), and resolved to return with my camera in hand. The sun hardly shines here in Oxford, so finding a clear day to shoot was a feat amidst exams and rowing... but that's what Saturday afternoons are for, right?
