The sun sets around nine on a July evening in Sardinia, but that's just when the cities come to life. I have become accustomed to the sharp bedtimes and closing times of Oxford, so it was a bit of a shock to see people out and about after the sun had set. I suppose it is just too hot in the daytime to do anything but lay around on the beach, so the locals like to exercise, eat, and socialise in the night....
It turns out that sunset is also the only time for a little photoshoot in Sardinia, after the whole island has begun to cool down from a day of baking in the sun. I wore my navy shift dress with my Miu Miu shades, which seemed to be fitting for the Italian summer days.
