London Fashion Week: Day 2

Posted on

The second day of London Fashion Week was on Saturday.  I got a late start to grab a train because I was basically exhausted from the happenings of day one, but I think I got to all of the shows that were essential...

When I arrived in London, I meant to run straight to Freemason's Hall for the Judy Wu show... but I got extremely lost and I'm pretty sure I ended up walking all of London.  I got to the show fashionably late, but of course I still had to wait in line because fashion week time is about +30 min.

My favourite looks from the Judy Wu show were the ones that incorporated a colourful marble print.  The clothes had lovely textures and I loved the open-back silhouettes.

After getting lost on the way to Brewer Street Car Park, I finally ended up there to hang out and grab some street style snaps. It wasn't long, though, until I found myself running to the Vinyl Factory for the Moon J show:

Everything about this show screamed "sporty chic" to me.  I loved the colour scheme of black with pops of yellow, red, and green. The designer, Jinhee Moon, did a lovely job of playing on textures for the spring/summer season.

Devonshire Square was my next stop, where I attended the concept collections show from Oxford Fashion Studio. I was previously a blogger for Oxford Fashion Week (see all the posts here!), so it was lovely to see the London Collections show... and they now have runway shows in Paris, Oxford, LA, and Dallas this season.

Be sure to check out day one here!

Emma
