Paris in 3 days: Day 2

We woke up early on Wednesday and got a pain au chocolat + bread before going to the metro station..

Our plan was to go to Versailles, but there was a train strike on that day (of course!)

Plan B: go to the Louvre first, then maybe Versailles after.

The Louvre was gorgeous, I could've spent a few days in that museum!  We didn't have that kind of time, but we saw the necessities.

After the Louvre, we bought some lovely art from this man on the street^^^

The famous lock bridge was nearby, so we decided to take a walk on it.

We then made our way back to the Arc de Triomphe, and it was actually open!  The views from on top were perfect, probably my favourite views in Paris.  

Our last stop of the day was the Notre Dame

 ...and we ate a lot...

We also fed the birds at the Notre Dame.  By this time we were completely exhausted and we went back to our hotel for the night.
